New meanings of TOS

Have you ever googled your nickname? I've googled my real name before - but not my nickname... since I have zero concentration and motivation at the moment, I did just this using my nickname (but really my de facto name to my friends) TOS. Here's a sampling of what comes up... I never thought of half of these...

• An abbreviation for Terms of Service ('TOS')
• Transport and Offshore services - A Dutch shipping services company - how interesting considering I will start my Dutch language classes on October 1st!
• A rocket launcher used by Russia (not nice!)
• A lightweight computer platform - not sure what it does, but I'm glad it's not heavy or fat!
• Teacher's Organization of Skill Sharing - http://www.tos-land.net/ - in Japanese! In case you didn't know I speak it fluent (I actually majored in it at Georgetown!)
• Star Trek geeks' abbreviation to mean The Original Series... as opposed to Next Generation etc...
• The Tennessee Orthopaedic Society - in case I ever break a bone in Memphis...

I am going to look for more later... storms a brewing and I am headed out to my boy's house for din din (steak on the grill!) . YUM!
