Busy day

Well there is less than a week to go until my summer conference in Halifax,NS. I am dreading this meeting - typically we work from 6:30/7:00am until 11:00PM. The meeting is 6 days in a row and a lot of work, plus they expect you to go drinking with them. I love wine and expensive food for sure, but I barely drink or eat the whole time - I usually just want to sleep as much as possible and by the end of the meeting I am exhausted and dying to come home. So I have a lot of work to do to prepare and also to mentally prepare. I've been having such a good time this summer (outside of work) and I like being in my new condo so I don't want to leave! Plus I am dating the most wonderful guy and why would I want to hang out with conservative white guys instead of him - exactly!

Fingers crossed for Weds. I really want to go back to school and working at a university would be ideal so I can pay my mortgage and NOT pay for my master's!
