Swedish Library to Lend Gays, Gypsies instead of Books
Now I think I truly have heard it all... What a neat concept though - you have to give it to those crazy Swedes! All that light keeps them up thinking of neat things to do. I wonder if this will go over well. Personally I think it is a great idea.
They should also lend out an "American" - to prove we're not all conservative, bible-beating, illiterate, anti-Europe, warmongering ex-cokeheads like the Commander in Chief is...

you know ... though you and i consider that simply an refreshingly open attitude ... the far christian right in this country hates sweden for that very type of thing.

Ever since Eisenhower spoke ill of it in the 50s as a morally corrupt nation where women worked outside the home and sex was guiltfree before marriage, Sweden has tuned the US out.
