Actung Governator - Act or be Terminated!

You've no doubt heard about the landmark bill in California (here's a summary from the Washington Post) which will be decided by the Governator's signature (or lack therof). I'm not sure of what will happen b/c some accounts say he won't sign on the basis that he thinks the courts should decide. I hope that is NOT the case b/c it is completely and utterly against the law. Maybe this Austrian-turned-Hollywood-turned-Politico idiot should consult Schoolhouse Rock and see how a bill becomes a law.

Of course I am pleased and in full support of the bill. In terms of civil matters I deserve and demand the same rights as everyone else. The churches can decide for themselves and their congregations as to what marriage entails, but that is a private matter and not something the state should be allowed to influence. Conversely they have no right to interfere with civic matters, I won't drag the constitution out for discussion just wanted you to know why this is important to me as a citizen regardless of my sexuality.

But the bigger thing is that the Governator of California is an ABSOLUTE PUSS*! He need to get off the fence and do his job. He's such a bitch b/c he talks a big game about being all strong and definitive but when it comes to an issue where he could lose a lot of votes on either side b/c he wants to take coward's way out and let the courts decide??! BS. This is going to come back to haunt him - the conservatives have decried every major legal decision against them (in favor of equality for taxpayers like me) as rogue "justices, judges or courts" who are trying to MAKE law not interpret them. In this case Ahhhhnold is asking them to do just that, make law. The courts are not allowed to sign bills into law or not sign them that power rests with the Governor.

Arnold needs to get some balls and make a real decision for once in his career. He can veto and please Orange county (which will weaken whatever support he has left on the other side as well as demonstrate his inability to lead) or sign for equality which is the right thing to do (since he's an alleged "social liberal") and it won't cost him any political capital b/c he's going to LOSE the next election and the special election anyhow! This issue PROVES he's a worthless piece of celebrity trash who couldn't govern his way out of Beverly Hills Starbucks...

This has nothing to do with being gay or str8 - it's purely inconsistent politics. But then there is this JERK:
