Funny story from the other day about my boy... Left my place early to get home to change for work. Ended up getting to work a lil late b/c his iron broke and his shirt was still a lil wrinkled after the "dryer tumble" wrinkle reducer trick (throwing a wet fabric softener sheet in with the wrinkled article, tumble on high for a couple minutes then smooth and wear - works great in a pinch!). Why was he late? LOL he drove to Target, bought a new iron and then went home to use it. Now that is what I call dedication - you know at my present job I would NEVER bother! :-P Isn't he cute?!

Blogs are funny. I know this guy from a while back and ran into him the other night at the new downstairs part of Halo here in DC. Little did I know that it was Sean of the Sean Show. LOL he's been linked on my blog for months and yet I had no idea my friend was the blogmaster of new fresh music and even fresher pics of hot guys!!! Life is funny eh?

I can't let this one go by... Barbs Bush is a jerk.

Solid Gold! - I saw this picture on a cool blog run by a feminist who is going for a Ph.D in Rhetoric (I had no idea there was such a thing! You learn something every day no?) Those Solid Gold dancers were something else! What that something was I have not figured it out yet....

Ok I want one of these - maybe once I get all settled I can start a fund to afford one... life as a grad student and university administrator is going to be tricky at first, got to get used to the frugal life again, need to start drinking 2 buck chuck from now on... well maybe not (an anti-2buck chuck website, who knew?!) but definitely no more $8.99 wines, I'll stick to 6 bucks and under and do just fine! And don't worry folks 2BC is just fine - for what it is! It's extrordinary for TABLE WINE (vino di tavola, vin ordinaire etc) - you can't get a better bottle so cheap unless you live in some fabulous place like Stellenbosch (my SA friend Cookie tells me stories of fabulous wines cheaper than water.... sigh! Doesn't it look gorgeous!)

And the countdown is on - 3 days left of work at Hell Incorporated!!! - I have an 8:30AM meeting with my boss tomorrow morning to "go over my list and determine how to prioritize my last 3 days at XYZ Corp." Yup, we can go over it all you want bucko, but if you think I'm spending a minute past my 8 hours working on stuff you can forget it! No longer will I waste my personal time on the black hole you used to trap me in. BUH BYE.

Oh yes and props to my friend and fellow swarthy-boy, Christos. He is cleaning out his closets and his apartment, something I must now go do! Btw is that a cannon between your legs or are you just happy to see me?!
