Bravo Celine! Bravo!

I just saw that Celine Dion video from Larry King Live. WOW! I must have been asleep, it was FANTASTIQUE. She has so much how you say, spirit! Ok so one I got a kick out of her Quebecoise accent but mostly b/c she was so passionate and upset about this ridiculous tragedie in New Orleans. I mean she was FURIOUS while also devastated. At one point she said something like "who cares about my check?! maybe in 3 months but these people need water?!" she was waving her arms and her English was stunted even more so than usual. This was a woman clearly angered (and rightly so) about what is going on and it WASN'T about the publicity. She even said "I'm sorry I don't want to talk about money" and that she had been holding it in for a week and she couldn't do it any longer. She didn't come out and criticize the President himself but definitely implicated the war in Iraq. I don't care what you think, she may be a star and sure she will get a publicity boost (though she doesn't need one, she's wildly rich and her show is always sold out!) but she was just another shocked and angered citizen. These views need to be heard, we should be OUTRAGED moreso than we are. The more outraged the faster the response it seems... Anyhoo go Celine, you rock! And yes I am a big ole fag b/c I like Celine so :-P

P.S. I will be leaving work ON-TIME today b/c I got a very promising phone call today!!! Final details need to be worked out but let's just say I have a letter to write and I will sleep better very soon!!! Hmm I need to figure out when the next GRE will be given...

I read one of your postings on someone's blog about kanye west. and AP news. I can't really put blame on the photographer for the the caption. I put blame on the editor. I worked for Gannett as well.
