Oh no! Is it time for Xmas decorations already?!

Maybe Charlie Brown was right... Maybe Christmas is getting too commercial - Boo took this of me like 2 weeks ago! Xmas decorations in September??!! I still it is too early for Halloween candy but that is just me! LOL

On another note, I started my job full-time today! It was uneventful, HR orientation all morning, lots of forms to fill out etc. The medical benefit is good but the insurance won't cover my primary care doc (he's out of network - damn!) and I'm going to have to find someone new. I don't want to but paying out of pocket to meet a $750 deductible and then only get 70% reimbursed will be a bit steep on my new salary. THANKFULLY I can still see him when I really need it, I'll just pay, they are worth it (if you are in DC and have good insurance like Blue Cross you should go to him...they are so kind and it is actually pleasant to see the doctor) - I will just need to find a new place for my routine ailments like my poor sinuses!

So work was good - so many things to do, so much to learn! Plus I like having an office with a sunny window, nice leather chair (my last chair was a torture device), fast PC etc. I had a nice walk home (2 miles - good exercise) though it rained but I didn't much care since it was warm & it has been so long since I've seen rain! LOL Went to the gym (yes don't pass out - I've been 3 times in 4 days, trying to get back in the swing and do it right. Please encourage me down the road!) It was very crowded but I got a machine (it's a good gym, pricy but I get a discount with my insurance - though for $71/month now you think they could put up a decent website!) and did my thing, just ate dinner and am doing chores and blogging. A good day!
