Life is good!
Only a quick post since I have training (the first of 3 in the next 4 days!) this morning. It's quiet for once in the office and nobody is popping their head in to either ask me for something, dump more papers on desk or give me another task :-) But life nowadays -
Is good! As Joe Riddle correctly put it "Isn't happiness the best?" Yes - yes it is.
Things good in my life:
1) I have a good job - it may be INSANE right now b/c of the volume of backlogged work from b4 I started & the steep learning curve - but the benefits down the road and the respect I've already earned from my colleagues is already paying dividends
2) I have a family and good friends - see yesterday's post.
3) I have the home I want, in the location I want it and the positive appreciation that is already apparent even after only 6 months - I ain't going nowhere! :-)
4) I have my health - my sanity is coming back, the depression is lifting, my body is firming and the excess pounds and fat I gained are burning away. I smile more now - people notice and compliment me on my appearance - the gym and walking a couples miles a day at minimum seem to be working.
5) I have my Boo - without embarassing him too much, let's just say I am just so thrilled and happy to have such a wonderful guy at my side. He makes me laugh and smile a lot, gets me all "worked up" :-) and just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I'm inamorati to the 100th degree. Last night I broke my rules and we went out to 80's night at Cobalt since it was his night off. It was so much fun!!! He saw all kinds of people he knew (many more than me for once!) and we had a great time listening to music with our friend Watusi, some drinks, but were home by 12:45 so I could get up this morning for work (well I'm a lil sleepy since I didn't go right to bed... :-p) But I got up for work, packed my lunch and smiled as kissed my sleepy friend who happily snoozing on his day off :-) Even 3/4 asleep he says sweet things - making me a happy character right now. :-)
6) I have a plan - I'm getting an education - soon classes for my master's (and at what a lovely cost! hee hee - free ain't bad!) learning a new language (Nederlands!) and looking forward to each day - unlike before.
In summary - life as we know it is good. Challenges, bumps in the road and small crises no doubt await me in the road ahead - but I would be scared if there weren't any (life just ain't like that!).
Happy Wednesday people - and yes Steve, Jupiter has rewarded me - thank god for that!

Well, I'm glad your life is going good because mine really sucks. (Kidding!)
Your nature is to be happy, Tos. Things get easier around 30 - you've earned it.
