Simple weekend
Fun, friends, boo, cleaning, organization, Dakota Cowgirl, JRs (cough cough), talk, quiet solo time... a weekend perfect - so why can't it be longer so I can have more social time! Seriously folks, before I pass out, I'm proud of myself. I shut my phone off most of the weekend to focus on cleaning, organizing and getting my house more manageable and I made great progress while still having fun with friends and my fella.
Crazy week to come, then NYC with Cookie for the weekend and Le Nozze di Figaro! Can't wait!
*Trivia Note: That opera I mentioned is not what most people think of when they hear the word 'figaro' - what is the correct opera?

That would be Il Barbiere di Siviglia. Specifically the aria "Largo al Factotum." I think it must be Bugs Bunny who is responsible for Americans knowing this. Although the best operatic Bugs Bunny cartoon is the Wagner parody.

Ahh ... the barber of seville. I actually do remember that from Bugs Bunny's rendition. How terribly uncultured of me.
