Damn it - where are my ruby slippers!

I keep repeating "there's no place like home" to myself over and over - yet I'm still here and not even in Kansas!

Listen I love my family dearly... I do - even if you people don't believe it. I appreciate them now much more than before.

HOWEVER

5 days + in the same hotel room (or several in different locations) is just too much. We're not rich so we need to make due but still... even if we all had our own palaces - it's just too much. The holidays are stressful enough but trying to be tourguide and herding the cats from event to event is giving me a severe headache. I have always agreed with this charming best friend of mine - and his rule. My problem the family punishes me if I try to enforce it... So this year I gave in.

Actually it's been a really good trip so far - with a minimum of bickering (until today but I ain't going there) but even my mother admitted this was just too long of a trip... We don't sightsee well as a family and I barely sightsee period...

So we have one more day here... I am going to try to standby and talk my way onto the redeye flight tomorrow night. If not I am paying the friggin $100 bucks. I don't have a place to stay tomorrow night and I want to be home. I miss my bed. I miss my friends. I miss my lil slice of the ghetto and I miss my boo most of all. I'm a big baby I know but I need my creature comforts and my familiar surroundings. And I'm horny as hell too :-P shhhhhhhhhh

But other than that - San Francisco rocks... I have TONS of boring and fun photos to share. :-)

And Jimbo - I'm happy to report that even though I missed Brett Favre Day (though it don't look like much here - I'm Italian and it is not easy for me somehow...) that I'm sporting some fuzz - well almost a beard... I've never grown one b/c the hair comes in funny but I'm trying hard! For once my face doesn't hurt as much - though I look like some sort of rebel leader....
