Happy Birthday Dave!
Today is my hot musclefriend Dave's birthday. Dave is a character who merits a book about his life and times... or at least an ABC mini-series (or after-school special... hmmm) E! True Hollywood Story well you get the point.
He is a good friend from way back - from
I always joke that he keeps King of Prussia Mall in business... (sidenote: I've always thought this was a funny name for a mall - especially when you see it in some froo-froo ad in GQ where at the bottom it says "You can find Prada shoes at the following fabulous locations: Paris, London, Milano, New York, Los Angeles, King of Prussia... ummm ok sure... I'll send a memo to Tokyo "Gomen nasai - I'm sorry you've been knocked off the high-fashion locales of the world by a mall outside Philly..." LOL)
But anyhow - he's got an amazing story about pretty much anything whether it is from when he was on Navy sub duty (favorite quote from him: 100 men go down and 50 couples come up) or the antics of Pennsville, NJ (exit 1a before the NJTP) where he current maintains the nicest and best decorated home in about a 100 mile radius... and while it was a brief visit about a month ago I was proud to make him some waffles and showoff my big-boy home (when he lived here I lived out in Annandale, VA - shudder -) and my boo too.
Happy Birthday Dave! I miss you man - we'll build a nuclear plant in PG County so you can move back to DC and you can even bring that little terror err I mean dog (actually he's a good dog now - no more growling and barking problems anymore it sounds like!) too! Wish I was in South Beach for the big party - I will crank up my newly working heat, put in a Golden Girls episode and raise a glass in your honor! Love - wanderTOS

TOS, you are the best! My book of life would have an entire chapter devoted to you and all of our great times together. I know you've got a long way to go, but turning 50 is not as bad as I thought it would be, especially knowing that I have friends like you. I love you, man!
