Made it!

Well I'm here... made the earlier flight out last night and got put right on the flight and in economy plus too! Was pretty bumpy flying in to SFO - heavy low clouds... but it is 65 degrees!!! I don't care if it is humid and overcast - it is 65 degrees!!! Whooo hoo!

Spent the night at my bro's house in the Mission... then walked around this am in his hood and took some great pics - which i will post when i get back! Then a simple breakfast of handcrafted donuts (me bad) and coffee and I was off to SFO airport... So progressive this state is... they have safe needle drops in all the public restrooms (not that I needed to avail myself of them...) as well as a "free speech" desk - where people soliciting money for causes must gather - instead of attacking you throughout the terminal! A nice blend of progressive inclusive-ness and practical pragmatism!

Then we sat in traffic and POURING rain to get to out FABULOUS 4 * hotel on the top of Nob Hill. I got us a room that is 467 sq feet (yes they list it!) and has a nice exterior view. Plus I got the 3rd nite free. We had some lunch and went to the Cable Car museum after... cool photos to come.

Tonight I got to see my other "brother" - only for an hour - but it was SO good to see him. We are like twins... right down to the Simpsons and Peanuts addictions... plus he is a font of fun memories that we share from way back... His man is a sweetheart and it sux that I had to meet up with the fam for dinner b/c I could have hung out all night with those two in their LOFT! Can't wait to come back out here for some real "family" fun - boo has never been and I can't think of how many fun things there are to do here (without one's mother and sister in tow ;-)

So it's off to sleep for me. I went for a long walk while talking to the boo and learned why everybody is so thin here - THE HILLS... oh my - what started as a fun walk became a good workout as i hiked up the hill from Union SQ while talking my poor boy's ear off...

Anyhoo - need to sleep off this time diff! Hope everyone is having fun and well!
