A former blogoholic I have stopped the blog for now. I need to focus on teaching and living my life with my best Boo and pup! See you around the cybersphere!

Racing towards Monday

Well here we are again... Sunday night. I am doing about 15 loads of laundry - ugh it is killing me!

A couple of weekend highlights before I get back to pyscho-cleaning, doing my taxes and going over my reading for class tomorrow night :-) ...

Got out of work early for once on Friday and went over to Dbud's house to just relax and say hi. Then I headed home and the week promptly caught up with me - I passed out on the bed for an hour or so until Dbud, Mr. M and some other friends woke me and convinced me to go out for a while - which I did. I might add that my friend "Hot Joe" as Dbud has branded him was nothing but a complete gentleman and jovial spirit. Not only did he kindly pay for all the drinks (which he was NOT supposed to - but that sneaky devil somehow he managed to take the money I'd slipped in his shirt pocket and re-slipped it back to me (my that sounds dirty almost!) ... I will get my revenge on him ;-) but it was much appreciated!

I won't get into how the owner of neighborhood bar got really nasty and rude with Joe and I - I will be picketing his bar when his ABC lic. comes up for review.

Saturday the Boo and I had a lazy morning and then enjoyed the FANTASTIC weather to walk up to the National Zoo to see (yes Steve) those cute pandas... Butterstick (I refuse to call him Tai Chang Clang Bing Bong or whatever his oppresive gov't name is...) was of course curled in a ball almost completely out of sight - but the few times we saw him - yup - adorable.

Then Boo and I walked home and had some QT. But that's between us (and it ain't what you think... that was later ;-) I will say that he is just the greatest friend & boyfriend a guy could ask for - days like Saturday make me a sappy happy guy. :-)

And before I hit that ridiculous laundry pile staring me down...

I got a chance to say hi to another blogger. It's so funny - you read people's blogs without ever meeting them for the most part. The next thing you know you are standing at a cowboy karaoke bar on a Saturday night feeling somewhat strange by saying "I'd like a bourbon and coke and a rum and coke please ... umm hey do you like have a blog?" - Thankfully the answer was yes and Mr. Bartender now has a face to match the bloglink. Nice to meet you! He's a good singer too - how he manages it with the clouds of smoke in that place - now that is amazing.

Ack! The laundry pile is killing me... Gotta go!

"Don't ask - I told you I have a laundry problem!"
