A former blogoholic I have stopped the blog for now. I need to focus on teaching and living my life with my best Boo and pup! See you around the cybersphere!

Today was miserable

The spirit of the hated fax machine in the movie Office Space (now with flair!) has now fully reincarnated itself in my Xerox copier. Just like last week when someone overused it, jammed it a minimum of 10 times and then left it for dead (with me to spend an hour to fix it as 80 backseat copier repairmen kibbitzed and told me what I was doing wrong) I lost that much more sanity - and yes had the same crowd of gawkers who didn't get dirty or burn their hand again - like I did. I hate that machine - I curse it to hell and I can't wait to replace it - hopefully very soon. The Xerox man comes tomorrow - he must be a Zen priest or something - I don't see how anyone could have that much peace and tranquility to deal with that mechanized devil spawn!

I had numerous other lousy experiences today starting with a lovely $20 bullshit DC parking ticket, leaks, negligent plumbers with a penchance for truancy, bathrooms, insurance companies, people barking at me - you name it - but I'm doing what I should have done this morning - going to bed! ;-)

Oh and I must thank Miss Watusi for taking me to dinner in the fabulous Landmurk Mall - it was a spectacle to behold and I had a nice laugh. I thank her for taking my mind of things! :-) To the Boo as well who did a little unsolicited tho much appreciated housework so that I could sleep better. Awww.

Nite people. And do me a favor - if you see your Xerox jumping about and blowing blue tinged toner laced smoke - RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!! ;-)

TOS - you totally freak my freak, man! :) Honestly...I have not laughed this hard in a very long time. "Office Space" is one of the single most amazingly funny movies I've ever seen. Anyone, ANYONE who works in an office could relate to that movie. I, too, deal with a mechanized devil spawn of a copier, fax, printer-in-one every day at work, and I swear if it fucking jams one more friggin' time, I am seriously bringing in a baseball bat. Sorry you've had so much "crapola" to deal with in your life lately. Hope it settles soon. Boo was sweet to be so good to you. You're a lucky guy (but I don't have to tell you that)!!
