A former blogoholic I have stopped the blog for now. I need to focus on teaching and living my life with my best Boo and pup! See you around the cybersphere!

Sick! Blaaah

Well I have been trying to avoid it all winter but yup.... I'm sick. I caught the cold that is going around and I felt like crap. So much so I stayed home from work today. Of course I can't really afford to because I have too much work to do (no surprise there...) but I was up until 5am - my face seemed to spring a leak in the nasal area... yuk.

Of course instead of drinking green tea and resting like my boss suggested, I've had to work on his powerpoint for the last 1.5 hours... so much for that. Don't people in the country get it? What is our problem? You can't even be sick anymore - no time for that!

But here's something to amuse... Boo sent it to me yesterday.... How lame does Bush look in this video of him and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre... As Boo said... like on Sesame Street "One of these kids is doing his own thing..."

Dubya - you ain't go no game and no rhythm! No wonder why you hate black people... you're jealous!

Sorry u got the sniffles, snuffy - er, I mean TOS. :) Being sick is no fun at all. Just take care of yourself and feel better. I'll remember to "say a little prayer for you" tonight before I hit the sack. And about the whole work thing...I know what you mean about having so much to do that you can't even be sick...but just remember that it will be there when you get back IF you do take a day off. Take care, buddy.
