Thursday night revival

So I worked extra late tonight... I have pretty much been working overtime for the last couple of weeks... my budget is due tomorrow and what they gave me falls short of what we really need... so I am working, re-working and working the numbers some more. So after I left I ended up meeting the Boo for a couple minutes in between him moving his car and getting some food before he went back to work (he works the late shift). It was nice to see him and get to chat a little bit in person. It can be hard during the week since we work opposite shifts but at least we get uninterrupted weekend time now :-) Then we parted ways and I ventured to walk home (since it was too late to go to the gym) and I dropped by a friend's business just to say hi and hang while I ate my Singapore style noodles (yum!).

But of course yet another friend was out at JRs... It being a Thursday and me being a hermit the last 4 months I actually decided to brave the smoke and drop by. And it was fun as hell. I ran in to another 2 sistas (2 of my bestest gurlfriends actually) and it ended up being a faaaaaabulous evening. Sure it is late and I had a couple more than intended but I will go in late tomorrow (I get to do so on Fridays - b/c I work over during the week I take back an hour on Fridays which is nice and relaxed for me, plus it give me an extra hour of sleep if I wait up for the Boo).

Even though I feel like coughing up a lung - yes people - it can be nice to go to JRs and be social every once in a while. They were playing a lot of fun 80s videos and I got to see a bunch of folks I haven't seen in a while. My only regret is that the sexy Boo of mine was stuck at work. :-( Hopefully we shall make up for that this weekend.

Speaking of weekend - I need to buy my powerball tix!!! It is time for me to finally win so I can get to that life of leisure and language learning (how can I become a true polyglot if I have to work full-time and go to school part-time, allowing barely enough time to learn one extra language!!!)
