Fabulous Friday

Hi kids - I'm home sick (mentally I'm very ill) today! As I sit here writing my final paper I am listening to a really cool new radio station (well new to me!) as I have burnt out a lot of the streams I listen to daily. I love my radiofg.com, radio538.nl and bollywood.mu - but like all radio they can get a lil repetitive if you listen all day long... so enter Energy 92.7 radio - an actual broadcast station in none other than San Fab'cisco. Dance music which is fun and yes - a GAY morning show!!! I am listening right now. Call me crazy but I just love hearing people I can relate to doing the morning drivel shows... I'm sick of all the homophobic morning jocks like Elliott in the morning, Russ Parr, Donnie Simpson, Jack in the Morning blah blah blah... some out outright gay-haters who just mock us and our culture... we're just a joke to them. "Oh brokeback this and brokeback that" blah blah blah...

Well enter Energy 92.7 - don't get me wrong, Fernando in the morning is still replete with the mindless drool you expect from radio in the morning but ahhhhhhhhhh how refreshing. Gay people yapping just like their straight counterparts but sometimes the joke is on them - cool.

Sometimes I wonder... maybe I do need to move to San Francisco, at least some day... I think everyone has to live there at least once, same goes for New York, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome...

Anyhow back to the paper but enjoy the station - and remember they are 3 hours behind the east coast so those slackers is 'Cisco are just getting up so you didn't miss the show! :-)

P.S. The pic of that HOT Eric Evans is just b/c I feel like it... if only everyone had a hot furry stud named Eric... ;-) *wink wink*
