Today the Boo and I rode our bikes down to the swirling morass of tourists, fanny packs, bad drivers and even - yes -
Cherry Blossoms... In Japanese these are called "sakura" and they are the subject of many traditional songs etc... In Japan, Cherry Blossom watching is an art form and a pastime - 'o-hanami ni iku' means literally "to go look at flowers" and that is what we did today (plus a nice long bike ride - marred only by 36 mph wind gusts on the ride home - needless to say we went a lil slower, but that was ok too :-)

that would imply there were places to sit! ;-) The place was mobbed... glad we saw them but crowds drive me crazy ;-0

Thank goodness you rode your bikes. If I remember correctly, had you taken your car it'd be another two weeks before we saw this post.
