The last Monday of my 20s

Yup this is it... the is the last Monday I will experience in my 20s... My 30th birthday is this Wednesday so that means I have less than 2 days as a pseudo-serious adult. From what everyone tells me 30 is the age to be... gone is the brashness and anxiety of the the 20s - welcome to the full-flavored 30s. Please don't confuse me with the other big-eared freak who said this... but, Bring it On! :-)

In other news I am off today. I took every Monday off in June to spend down my vacation days. I also took off Thursday and Friday of this week and STILL have 2 days leftover - my choice to use before the end of the fiscal year which for me is June 30th. This morning I will do my class reading and write my paper (this writing a paper for every single class session - which is twice a week! - is a little annoying but at least it is a topic I enjoy). I also have lunch at 11:30 with a woman who is finishing the program I will most likely be entering in August... Class at 5:00 and then I guess I will go to work on Tuesday and Weds... I have class Wednesday night so I might as well work - though I will NOT be having the HORRIFIC birthday I had last year thank you...
