Well so much for that....
Maybe it's me or maybe I just expect too much. My appointment went ok. I had to wait for 45 minutes since they doublebook appointments. The doc was cocky, rushed and while I did get some new treatment creams I got the full-push for laser hair removal.
I felt like I was buying a used car and not in the care of a physician. I guess I am just exceedingly lucky in that I have really excellent primary care physicians (if you're local then Price Medical is superb in every way and Dupont Circle Physicians Medical is also great and were recommended to me by Dr. Price when my insurance changed). Both of the practices mentioned really have taken care of me - better than any other doctors. They always take me on-time, spend as much as possible with me and the staff is just friendly and helpful. Oh and they're all gay - which makes a HUGE difference in terms of being comfortable and open (at least for me).
Anyhow maybe my primary care docs are just TOO good. Maybe I just live in a bubble when it comes to medicine. Maybe I need to tell Dr. Price to hire a dermatologist for his practice so they all live up to that standard ;-)

the last two dentists that i have seen have tried to upsell me on shit that i have since been told by a friend from high school who is now a dentist that i don't need. i need to get some stuff done to my grill, but i have to find a dentist under my BCBS dental insurance that isn't a crook first.
ugh, health care! oh well i don't have much to complain about other than my dentist.
