I have decided that I have the utmost respect for people in HR - like Matty (though he is not your typical HR director... he's talented and SUPER CUTE :-p) I don't know how you people do it. It would drive me crazy.

In fact it is driving me crazy. I am the hiring manager in my dept and have to hire my replacement and another staffer. The paperwork is so odious and my school adds about 4 extra layers to it. Then after you have dotted all the i's and crossed the t's you need to get the required FOUR yes FOUR signatures for approval...

All that before you can even offer a candidate the job... and in the length of time they may fly the coop.

That is all I have been doing for the last few days... the job may end for me on Friday but it is way too busy and stressful! LOL.
