I'm melting...

The dog days of August aren't even here yet and DC has been sweltering for more than a week now... This weather is awful... The only upside is that today the humidity was actually only 45% rather than the 91% it has been... I think I just may melt - it is supposed to be easily 100 tomorrow. Thankfully I will be off from work (yes - again) and waiting for the cable man from 2 - 5PM. Why you ask?

Much to British Matt's dee-lite, I will be joining modern civilization and getting cable. I actually scored an excellent deal by threatening to drop my phone service from the cable company... so yes I will soon marvel in Channels 2 - 99 that you know as 'Basic Cable' - I'm even excited about it, even though there is nothing ever on, because I will have a clear picture for once... But if you think I am going to shell out more cash for premium channels... ha! ;-)
