Last week

So it is my last week at work?!! I don't know why I should be so excited since poverty will set in shortly thereafter but I am glad to stop working. In reality I will be working again in less than a month but in my new capacity - teaching :-) I start teaching high school at the end of August but before someone says "Must be nice" or "Wish I had a month-long vacation" I'll mention that I start an intensive class the 1st week of August. Basically they cram a normal 14 week class into one month which means 8 hours of class a day, 5 days a week LOL. Still better than working I guess...

But thankfully I do get a mini-vacation - me and the Boo going to Cape Cod to see my mom at the end of the week :)

In other news, it was a nice weekend. That Boo and I laid low, had good workouts at the gym and saw the Devil Wears Prada with Topher. I know 1/2 the world has seen it and all the queens are goo-gawing over it, read to say at the first moment "Ohmygawdthatwasolike2weeksago!" but I will just have to say I LOVED IT. I thought it was both funny and well-acted. I think Meryl deserves an Oscar for her performance. Whenever she was in the scene you could almost feel the chill eminating from her character. I left the movie covered in venom...

Anyhoo - if you are in DC, enjoy the cool DRY weather today! We slept with the windows open last night. It was awesome! Have a good day people!
