NY Judges Wimp Out on Equality

Damn NY State court ruled against same-sex marriage... I'm not going to get started on the subject of "activist judges" and leaving issues (aka passing the buck back to) the legislatures... The whole point of the court system is to keep the legislature in check - SPECIFICALLY when the laws are not well, lawful! That is the whole reason why decisions like Brown v Board of Education are so significant - if the judges had said, well this is something that needs to be decided by the "will of the people" or the "traditional practice throughout the land" then guess what - there would still be lawful segregation! I mean come on! Those judges are a bunch of wimps and I'm just so sick of the buck-passing. Get some gnads and actually stand up for equality instead of preaching it and handing off the hot potato.
