Some good news for moi

Things for me to be happy about - even he's giving me a thumbs up!:

I got an A in my class! I worked my butt off, got over a steep learning curve and worked with a difficult professor. It all paid off and right now, for the first time in my life I have a 4.0 GPA. Yay me. (pardon the immodesty)

I do not have tuberculosis. Not that there was any doubt, but to teach in a public school you have to prove this.

I am in excellent health - fantastic according to my doc. Everything from my weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, heart etc is all excellent. Of course even though he said my weight is great, I want this belly flab off. Boo and I have been going to the gym consistently and working out hard. So hopefully I'll see some results in this area.

I can now do pushups. My whole life I was a weakling and could barely get through 10 or 20 pushups (and cheated the whole way) and now I'm doing them everyday. I've only been doing so in the last couple of weeks but I am trying to do some everyday when I am at home. My chest seems to be responding - even moreso than from the chest press (but I am doing heavy weight on that to increase my size - the pushups must help tone that I think...)

I'm going to Cape Cod with Boo next weekend to recoup, relax and introduce him to my Mom. Nervous as I am, I'm very happy to bring him home and be proud to show him off. My Mom is excited too. Plus it is a lot cooler on Cape Cod!

My job ends next week - while I am terrified about living without a regular income (esp. since my loans are still in process) I'm happy to be moving on. I may be good at office jobs but I can't wait to be in the classroom as nutty as my schedule will be.

I'm working on improving my blogs... this is going to take a while but I bought some new domains and am working on updating my shopping/coupons blog to help finance my education. So if you are so inclined, please add ShopDropandBlog.com to your blogroll. I try to update every couple of days when I see good deals. Any clicks help me earn tiny referral fees - you all rock for helping out! I also bought GayCoupon.com, WanderDeals.com, GayDealShop.com which all are pointing to ShopDropandBlog.com for now...

Oh yeah and very soon you can use Wandertos.com instead of the long blogspot url - new blog to be unveiled sometime in the future... who knows when but it's coming!
