Everybody cut everybody cut...

Footloose! No they haven't banned dancing on U Street (yet at least) and I'm not driving a broke-ass VW bug with a bad haircut.

I'm just sitting here eating my Raisin Nut Bran with my Boo and listening to one of my favorite streaming online radio stations - Club 977 - The 80's Channel. God bless Al Gore. He invented the internet and therefore liberated me from conventional "over-the-airwaves" radio. I have been a streaming freak since broadband radio started way back in the late 90s.

It is pretty much all 80s all the time - with only like 2 commercials per hour. Who needs XM radio. This is free.

I just love 80s music. I suppose every generation loves the music they grew up with but to me, 80s music is just addictive. Maybe it is b/c there were so many 1 or 2-hit wonders and thus plenty of variety compared to today's multi-hit albums that all sound the same.

So far this morning...

I've Walked the Dinosaur while twisting and shouting with Ferris... which got my feet all loose and that took me to the danger zone. Talk about danger, I thought I was alright until I found out I knocked up an Irish chick at my summer job working for Chevy Chase. Thinking I was going to die, I went straight to church for a eulogy on life and ended up going crazy...

Whew! What a station! What a morning! I will talk to you all later. I need to go get my parachute pants out of the dryer and get something more to eat before the gym...
