Paris Hilton brings new meaning to dumb rich bit....

I hate Paris Hilton. She is the worst kind of trash that could be shown on TV let alone adored by millions of young people... Now she's going to be even more famous and desirable. Having guzzled her way into fame via DUI, she has now pissed me off even more.

"The singer, actress, handbag designer and heiress to the Hilton hotel-chain fortune said she was "starving because I had not ate all day" and possibly "speeding a little bit" in her Mercedes-Benz SLR on her way to grab a bite.

She disgusts me. For someone with SO MUCH money why is she:

A) driving in the first place? Can't she afford a cab or perhaps a stretch Hummer limo or something? (she is ghetto trash after all...)

B) so stupid? Did this dummy even graduate from high school? My lowest level ESOL students know the difference between "ate" and "eaten" - why the hell doesn't she? Did the Beverly Hills Public School system not have enough money for English textbooks?

I guess the old saying, "money corrupts," includes both the mind AND basic English grammar.

No one that successful, no one without a Svengali, can be as stupid as she pretends to be. It's an act. Granted, she doesn't nothing but make a mockery of fame, but, still, she's not dumb. Just boring.

I think she's actually harmless. Stupid and kinda slutty? Sure, but virtually harmless. I'm not a fan at all, but she doesn't bother me.

What does bother me is the media's fascination with her. They are the ones who created the monster. The fact that they spend so much time focusing on someone with no real talent is a sign of the times. If they weren't constantly snapping photos of her and creating front page stories of her outings, we wouldn't even know of her.

Imagine if we came from a famous family, and the media wanted to make us a sensation. They could do it to any one of us if they wanted. I'm sure they could find something sad and entertaining about our lives.

She recognized all the free publicity she was given and ran with it. Good or bad, the phenomena was manufactured by crappy magazines and shows, and we ate it up.

Leave her alone! I love her!!! She is a major talent and I have closely followed her career ever since she played Lucy Ewing on "Dallas".

She is trash..and I think we all can't wait til she and all the other LA messes have a huge fall from grace. But, it will all be documented and we'll revel it in. And...we'll also rally around them when they have their second coming. Who knows. It will be interesting.

my favorite part of this whole story is the publicist's defense that Paris didn't "appear" drunk.

Yeah, that's the important part.
