Gavin Newsom Rocks (so does the Rainbow fund too)
I got this in email today... very cool!
Dear Friends, Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco and Rainbow World Fund invite you to make a wish. This December at City Hall, thousands of origami cranes inscribed with your wishes for the future of the world will grace a holiday Tree of Hope. We need your help! Join us as we gather hopes and wishes from around the world and give them wings. Click on the link below to send us your wish. It will be printed and transformed by our team of origami enthusiasts into a “crane-wish” and placed on the tree. Why the origami crane? Every wish is important and will be cherished. A Wish for the World taps into two of our most powerful resources – the human mind and heart – giving individuals a way to join together to express hopes and intentions for the future of our global community. Take some time to contemplate your wish (not too long, though, we have “crane-wishes” to fold). Sit quietly. Meditate. Breathe. Whatever works for you as long as your wish is sincerely yours and yours to give to the world! Please help us make A Wish for the World come true. Kindly share this invitation with your family, friends, and colleagues. With warmest regards, | |
