Leather, curds, and labs
Well howdy folks. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!I had a fun weekend with my Boo and the men of Leather though I don't think I'll be going back to that hotel next year. We didn't stay there but had a chance to go upstairs to a friend's room for cocktails (the liquor kind!) They get a room every year and have a hospitality suite so this year we went over for a drink. Just too much going on in that hotel - it was like walking around in a sexual psych or sociology class only in real life. Before you get any nasty thoughts we were just observers and definitely not participants. Not our thing, I guess I am just an old-fashioned guy. Still it was very interesting to say the least.
We also went to Blowoff and saw most of the western world. Many thanks to this Lumberjack who had us over for cheese curds (WI cheesy poofs!) and conversation with all of these blog buddies. Of course we saw Piranha Sean (scandalously still w/o blog & a hater of my master's cap!), el SuperStar Deejay, Mr. A'fer, various ex-boyfriends, y mucho mucho mas. FYI - the music was really great and in difference to the Bald Monkey, I thought it was a great mix of electronic and rock-inspired tunage.
On another note, I wanted to post some pics of Jack the Lab. A friend of mine (my birthday twin actually) just adopted this black lab puppy from the WARL last week. Adorable - but a lot of work! I took him for a little walk today sinc
e he was home alone for a short period. Full of energy and definitely a handful. But who could resist that adorable face!!! :-) Happy MLK Day!

Awwww...the black lab puppy is soooooo adorable. Thanks for sharing the pics darlin. Glad you had fun with the leather boys in town. I think maybe I should start a Saginaw, MI Leather Convention and see how it goes over...(like a lead balloon, I'm sure). Hehe Oh well, one day soon I'll be in Chicago and I can take in all the leather I want...mmmmm. *slurp*
Hang in there hon, you'll get your beagle. I think it's a wonderful goal. I love beagles...I think it all started with Charlie Brown and Snoopy for me. Hope you're having a great week buddy!!
