Hello... Goodbye
So today was MUCH better. After a bloody week, the weather gods were merciful! THANK YOU! I was about to walk out to my car when I saw the text message - 2 hour delay!!! Woohoo! I love it - no school would have been nice but a delay was fine by me. I didn't get any extra sleep but I did get to drop Boo off at wurk, get my shiznit together and plan today's lesson on the fly (shorter classes). The kids who were wild yesterday were MUCH better today. I had to drop the hammer yesterday. I don't like to be a discipline nazi but sometimes you gotta do it to show them who actually runs the class. Thankfully I went back to fun, cool, teacher again today - I even wore my green sneaks and a Hawaiian shirt to prove what a cheeseball I can be!In other news I love that song Here (In your arms) by Hellogoodbye. Boo dl'd it and I didn't notice it until I heard it at le Blow-off :-) Call me crazy I just love the distorted voice thingee mixed with rock (yes Bubala, rock & me in the same breath... :-P just tempered with some electronic sugar :-P)

Hi TOS! Glad that Friday was better than Thursday. Good days are always better than not-so-good ones. Oh, and thanks for the iTunes music. Thanks for the tip about Hellogoodbye! I have been thinking about getting that CD for a while now becuase it has such a cool cover. Now, after hearing the song, I'll surely pick it up!
