The Interview Whore

School may be ending but as usual life is heating up for me! ;-)

I've had 2 job interviews thus far and both have gone well. There is a ton of uncertainly for my future contract (the subject I teach fluctuates according to population, enrollment etc) and I am sure to be in limbo (and going crazy this summer) for a long time. I'm confident I will get something but I'd love it if some school would swoop in, produce a contract and then I'd know my future. Until then, I'll interview pretty much anywhere and at any time!

The good news is that I am getting a decent response to my fishing expedition (officially schools can't hire until July 1) but a bunch of principals are interviewing. I think I am basically going to travel with a set of dress clothes from here on out. Yesterday I didn't confirm my interview until a couple hours beforehand - and I was already at school! Thank god for Gold's Gym showers and for me packing a bag just in case in the morning.

Tomorrow I interview for an elementary position - very exciting, though unnerving since I currently teach high school!
