It's official
I'm finally a real teacher... All the courses are done (though I have one left for my masters - I will finish that during the fall semester) and all of the blood, sweat, and tears have been shed. Now comes the real deal - the actual challenge of teaching a new class, new grade, and in a new school. Whew - what a ride it has been! I can't believe how quickly 1.5 years have flown by...Of course I owe it all to my loving Boo. He's put up with a lot, well more than a lot, and he's been such a good egg as always. Without his support, kindness, and love I'd never have made it past day 1. I love you Boo.
My thanks to all my family, friends, bloggers, Shelly, beagles and colleagues. Maybe now I will be able to assemble some semblance of a life (well, sortof). I've missed you all!
Tomorrow starts new teacher orientation week! Wish me luck! It's the opening breakfast and then an afternoon of suicide prevention training. Sad that even in 3rd grade we need to be trained for that.
Ok, sorry for the long hiatus but here we go!
