It's now or never

By the time you read this it will be the 1st day of school for me!

Eeeeeek! Where did the summer go?!?! I guess I'm ready. This will be like the 1st day of the rest of my life. I'll try not to wax too philosophic but I'm in uncharted territory.

New grade, new school, new kids, new curriculum, new everything. Hopefully I'm ready - I've worked my tuckus off the last 1.5 years and it is all down to today. I'm feel like I understand Pinochhio better now - I'm a real teacher!

Wish me luck! I have my 1st and last grad class of the semester tonight. This is my very last class for my masters. I wish I didn't have to take it now with all the new stuff and challenges going on. But what the hell, I've been living by fire for the last year and a half, what is 4 months more!

Despite the last minute nerves, I know this is the right job for me, the right school, the right kids, the right everything. I've been waiting for this for a very long time. Today is the day where I finally do it... Might be a while before I blog again, long crazy week ahead but I'll be thinking of you all!
